Bible Classes for All Ages

The Helton Drive Church of Christ offers Bible classes for children of all ages from infants to adults.  All of our classes are firmly grounded in the Bible and seek to provide students with not only a knowledge of Bible facts but also applications that will be helpful in everyday life.  All of this is done in an atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment as students learn.

Adult Bible Classes

Each quarter, the Helton Drive Church of Christ is pleased to offer Bible classes designed for adults.  The key to these offerings is balance; a balanced mix of Old and New Testament textual studies along with topical studies that address a variety of contemporary issues and challenges.  We are blessed with an array of talented teachers; men who have spent years studying the Scriptures and developing the skills necessary to teach Biblical truth and provide practical, daily applications.

We believe the Scriptures when they affirm that through God’s word we “gain understanding” and come to know all we need for “life and godliness” (Psalm 119:104; 2 Peter 1:3).  It is for that reason that we place such a high priority on our adult Bible classes and invite you to come and study and learn with us.

College Age Bible Classes

One of the blessings of being a local church in Florence is that we are just 2 miles from the University of North Alabama campus.  Each year we are blessed to be acquainted with new college students who desire to serve the Lord. 

We recognize that a  student’s faith is greatly tested during this phase of life.  That is why it is important to be a part of a strong spiritual family.  We want both parents and students to know that we are dedicated to being that strong spiritual family.  It is our desire to help people get to Heaven.  And that includes our college students.  We want you to know that we are a church that is focused on teaching the Bible.  We are focused on training men and women to serve the Lord and His people.  Therefore, if you are looking for a church where young men are given the opportunity and are encouraged to serve in our assemblies, where young men and women are taught how to be more like Jesus, and where you will be treated like family, we invite you to come and join us.
